In February, 2006, Alderford held its annual spring event, the masque of Courtly Love. This one had the theme of a medieval science fair. Those attending were encouraged to enter their "science projects" for judging. As usual, the day ended with a scrumptuous feast by THL Francesca de Onorati with help from the Cooks' Guild.
