During the summer of 2005, the Marche of Alderford participated in over a dozen demos for libraries throughout its three-county area. The Summer Reading Club theme for 2005 was "Dragons, Dreams and Daring Deeds," which fit in well with the SCA's education mission. Claymont Public Library, in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, invited Alderford to present a program for young readers which it did with great success.
